Yan Diomande's social media activity causes a stir as Arsenal target transfer

According to Bild, the Ivory Coast international is set to return to the Bundesliga club some time next week to undertake pre-season testing, having represented his country at the World Cup.

RB Leipzig have not specified a specific date for his return, with Liverpool, PSG and Arsenal all reportedly keen on signing the 19-year-old on the back of an impressive campaign.

Diomande scored 15 goals and set up a further 11 for his teammates in all competitions for the Bundesliga club following his move to Germany from CD Leganes.

RB Leipzig will demand a reported €120million (£102.5m) for Diomande this summer, with the Gunners, Real Madrid, Manchester City and the aforementioned clubs lurking.

The report claims a bidding war could commence, though Diomande has agreed a contract with PSG until the summer of 2031.

That being said, no official bid from the Ligue 1 and Champions League winners has been submitted.

It's claimed Diomande's entourage are putting pressure on PSG to get a transfer over the line, in order to stop another club hijacking the deal.

Arsenal, who missed out on Morgan Rogers to Chelsea, are in the market for a left winger, with Diomande one of several names touted with the club.

PSG star Bradley Barcola is another linked with a move to the Gunners, though that may only come to fruition if Diomande seals a move to the French champions.

The Ivorian's social media activity has caused quite the stir back in Germany, leaving just four posts up relating to RB Leipzig.

Diomande's follower count has soared after impressing for Ivory Coast at the World Cup, surging to 1.1million followers on Instagram.

Leipzig are said to be keen on extending his current contract beyond 2030, though the report claims that social media activity points to a different outcome.

When asked about his future at the World Cup, Diomande said: "I expect to leave the club."
