Rose hails mentality as one of Cherries

MARCO Rose praised the mentality of his Cherries squad as one of the group’s biggest strengths.

Rose has had just one week of training with his new team, as they head to Austria today for the pre-season training camp, where the new boss will continue to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the group.

Asked what he has assessed as being the squad’s main strength so far, Rose told the Daily Echo: "They have many strengths, but in general, the mentality and the way they are managing themselves.

"Because I'm here for four or five days and you get the feeling for the group, and my feeling is that they are managing themselves in terms of how we expect to train, how we expect to treat each other, is on a really, really high level.

"Of course, as a coach, you sometimes have to give some advice, but my feeling is this group is really good in it."
