The head coach gave the home side credit after a 0-0 draw in the Conference League.
Jack Hinshelwood and Georginio Rutter forced decent saves at either end of the contest.
But Albion struggled to play their way through and might have been punished on counter-attacks.
Albion head coach Hürzeler said: “We had a lot of ball possession.
“We had a lot of crosses, a lot of patterns, a lot of play around their box.
“In the end we have to give also credit to Jablonec, how they defended.
“We weren't clean enough in the final third, our last action was missing, and therefore we couldn't score a goal.”
Hurzeler said there was a surprise in the Jablonec set-up as they sat very deep.
He added: “I said before they are a good team. They won here against Glasgow Rangers.
“They played a good game against Freiburg.
“Of course, they changed their formation. I think the games before they didn't play with a back five.
“We didn't expect that they would go this deep against us.
“But we have to give credit to them. They played a good game and were a difficult opponent we faced today.”
The hosts might have grabbed a winner on counter-attacks.

Hürzeler said: “Of course, the longer the game went, they better they were on the counter movements. We didn't stick to our structure in the end and therefore we made easy mistakes.
“We allowed them to make these movements and we have to learn from this.
“We have to stay in the structure, we have to be better in positioning.
“Although we want to score a goal, we can't force things, and that's definitely something we have to take away.”
