Elphick outlined Bournemouth 'focus' prior to Bristol City links

According to reports, Elphick is one of two final candidates for the vacant head coach's position at Ashton Gate, as the Robins look to appoint a new permanent boss ahead of the start of the 2026/27 season, following Roy Hodgson's interim spell in charge.

The suggestion from The Telegraph is that the Reds have targeted both the Cherries assistant manager and Lincoln City's Michael Skubala. City are said to have activated the Imps head coach's release clause - reported to be worth more than £1million - in order to open talks with the 43-year-old.
