Pring to undergo surgery as Hodgson issues update after City's Birmingham loss

Pring was replaced by Rob Dickie at the midway point at St Andrew's, as the Robins were beaten 2-1 by Chris Davies side on Saturday afternoon. First-half goals from Phil Nuemann and Jhon Sollis were enough to secure the points for Blues.

Neumann volleyed the hosts into the lead after eight minutes when he found himself unmarked following a Demarai Gray free-kick. Before the half-hour mark, that advantage was doubled when Sollis capitalised on a defensive mistake to beat Radek Vitek.
