Derby are currently four points off the top six as they head into their last away game of the season with three points a must and they will also hope that Wrexham and Hull both drop points to take the fight into the final day.
John Eustace's side have already beaten QPR this season when they triumphed 1-0 at Pride Park and will look to complete the double.
They will be without Derry Murkin who picked up a hamstring problem in the defeat at Norwich in midweek and he joins Patrick Agyemang, Rhian Brewster, Bobby Clark and Callum Elder on the sidelines.
Derby will also assess Dion Sanderson after he missed the trip to Carrow Road in midweek after sustaining an injury in the win over Oxford last weekend.
We will have all the team news for you as it drops at 1.45pm and that will be followed by full match coverage..
New UpdatesKey EventsGOAAAAAAALLLView PostToday15:40 BSTThey've got to stop SmythHe's already fired a couple of warnings coming in from that left side and he's done it again. This time he fires a fierce drive which Zetterstrom beats away.
Show him down the line!
Leigh CurtisToday15:31 BSTSaved Zetterstrom dives to his right to keep out Smyth's long-range effort.
Leigh CurtisToday15:26 BSTGOAAAAAAALLLThe Rams are level and it's come from a corner that is cleared to Johnston whose shot is miscued but it falls invitingly to Fraulo who smashes past Nardi.
Was a terrific finish. Ball was bouncing but sidefoot finish was excellent.
Leigh CurtisToday15:22 BSTNeeded to be sharperDerby produce their best move as Fraulo threads a lovely pass through to Szmodics but his touch is a poor one and the keeper gathers.
That's the second time that has happened this game.
Leigh CurtisToday15:13 BSTGoal QPRBennie beats Johnston and cuts the ball back to Vale whose first-touch sets him up perfectly and he fires past Zetterstrom. Derby have it all to do now.
Leigh CurtisToday15:11 BSTComfortableDerby just have to be mindful of Smyth who looks a very tricky customer. He's just cut inside Langas but his effort is tame from outside the box and Zetterstrom collects easily.
Leigh CurtisToday15:05 BSTMassive saveZetterstrom denies QPR the opening goal as he makes a super save to deny Kone and then Harvey Vale strikes the post.
Leigh CurtisToday15:00 BSTWe are under way....Derby fans in good voice. Derby playing 4-2-3-1. Ward playing right wing, BBD on the left.
Leigh CurtisToday14:59 BSTA bit of stardustActor Jack O'Connell is here and in the posh seats.
Big Derby fan. If you haven't seen Sinners or 28 Years Later the Bone Temple yet - he's brilliant in both of those.
Two of my favourite films in the last year.
Leigh CurtisToday14:38 BSTOver to you DerbyCharlton have done their bit by beating Hull City. A win for Derby today will take them to a point off the Tigers with one game remaining.
However, Wrexham also have to drop points at Coventry to keep the dream alive but Derby have to win.
Leigh CurtisToday14:04 BSTAlways been a Charlton fan
