Tyrique George knows the stats do not tell the real story of his time at Everton

The winger ended his loan spell without a goal or an assist across the 11 appearances he made under David Moyes last season.

He is content that is not a fair reflection of the impact he had - a belief backed up by Everton’s willingness to spend an initial £18m on ensuring he returned to the club this summer. Now he wants to repay that faith.
