All the drama happened late on at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta. Dean James gave Indonesia the lead in the 84th minute, but they were pegged back by Iklas Sanron's strike just three minutes later.
Thailand then turned the tables in extra time, where midfielder Peeradol Chamrasamee put them 2-1 up with 111 minutes on the clock.
Baggott's time to shine came in the 116th minute. A cross in from the right side of the box was pushed away by goalkeeper Saranon Anuin, allowing the centre-back to rifle an equaliser into the back of the net off the crossbar.

He wasn't done there. The 23-year-old went on to take the third penalty in the subsequent shoot-out, scoring to help his nation win 4-2 and lift the trophy in its inaugural campaign.
Baggott, who was born in Thailand but came through the ranks at Ipswich, joined Championship side Millwall over the summer. The Blues are understood to have received a fee just under ยฃ1m and hold a 20% sell-on clause.
