The centre-back, who spent last season on loan with League Two side Swindon Town, has been a regular throughout City's pre-season schedule, featuring against Northampton, Bristol Rovers and Burton Albion.
Uncertainty around the future of Wout Faes, Harry Souttar, Ben Nelson and Caleb Okoli means the young centre-back has been given an opportunity to impress this summer.
However, he was a noticeable absentee in Spain this week as Russell Martin's men stepped-up their preparations for the 2026/27 season.
Speaking to LeicestershireLive during an exclusive sit-down interview, Martin confirmed the club had received offers for the academy player and discussions are ongoing.

“We have received offers for Tom so we felt it was best for him to stay and see what he wants to do with his career," he said. "Them discussions are ongoing.
"We’ll see, that’ll be resolved by the time we get back, he’ll either still be here or be somewhere else that we’ve done a good deal for the club and Tom that he wants.”
Nathan Opoku is another player who is absent from Leicester’s pre-season squad after featuring heavily under Martin this summer. The striker had scored in the wins over Bristol Rovers and Burton Albion after returning from his loan spell at Newport County.
Martin confirmed that the striker has been suffering with a tight back.
It's crunch time for Leicester City as they face a serious rebuilding process in League One. The transfer window is open and we will see players heading in and out of the King Power turnstiles.
