City have been linked with a number of managers in recent weeks, with the latest development coming on Saturday. The Telegraph reported that Russell Martin was in 'advanced talks' with the Foxes and is their primary target.
Martin has been on Leicester's radar for some time with him under consideration prior to Marti Cifuentes' appointment last July. He was later given the reins at Rangers but lasted just 17 games.
However, noise coming out of the Netherlands has suggested that the race is far from over. According to AD.NL, Hake is being considered by the City hierarchy after holding talks with the club.

Hake, who is set to leave his role as assistant manager at Feyenoord, has previously worked as an assistant at Man United, Zwolle and FC Twente. He also served as head coach of FC Emmen, Twente, Cambuur, FC Utrecht and Go Ahead Eagles.
In 2024, Hake joined Erik ten Hag's backroom staff at Old Trafford alongside Ruud van Nistelrooy. He left United when Ten Hag was sacked before Van Nistelrooy went on to manage Leicester for the remainder of that season.
Hake is now set to be out of work following Feyenoord's decision to sack Robin van Persie. The former Arsenal and United striker guided the Eredivisie side to a second-place finish and Champions League qualification in his only full season as manager.
However, the appointment of Devy Rigaux as technical director and Robert Eenhoorn as general manager just two weeks ago has led to Van Persie's 16-month tenure coming to an end. Assistant Hake is understood to be following him out of the door.
