After leaving the club in May 2023, Firmino bid an emotional farewell to fans at Anfield. He said: "It will be difficult, particularly saying goodbye to people I live with every day.
"And the fans, I'll always miss them dearly. They sang my name and got behind me during all these years together. I thank God for the affection they have for me, from the bottom of my heart."
The Al Sadd player married Larissa in his hometown of Brazil in June 2017. When the couple left Liverpool with their children, Larissa took to Instagram to share a special message, she said: "We've reached the end. We are leaving here with hearts full of love. This made the goodbye even more painful, it made us miss everything, even before saying goodbye.
"But this love also impelled us to do everything over and over again, to do everything the same way, to really give of ourselves, to really love, to give ourselves completely.
"Liverpool taught me that love is worth it. Thank you fans, thank you LFC, thank you to each person who was part of this story. We will never forget you."
