Liverpool team news for Crystal Palace confirmed

Liverpool Echo · Ian Doyle

The Argentina World Cup winner is one of two changes made by Arne Slot as the Reds look to secure a third successive Premier League victory and strengthen their claims for Champions League qualification. Mac Allister joins Dominik Szoboszlai at the base of the midfield with Ryan Gravenberch benched. Florian Wirtz continues as the number 10.

The other alteration is enforced with Giorgi Mamardashvili ruled out for several weeks with the nasty wound that forced him off early at Everton last week. With Alisson Becker not yet available, Freddie Woodman, who replaced Mamardashvili at Hill Dickinson Stadium, makes his first Premier League start for the club.
