Noel and Liam Gallagher together again at Wembley as Oasis brothers watch City

Manchester Evening News · Andrew Bardsley

The pair were in a box with relatives to watch Jeremy Doku's deflected strike and Nico Gonzalez's screamer seal City's place in the final next month.

Southampton had took a shock lead with Finn Azaz's wonder strike. But City quickly secured parity and then got a winner to bolster their hopes of securing a domestic treble.

Oasis played seven nights at Wembley Stadium last summer, as part of their all conquering comeback.

The tour, which took in a further five nights at Heaton Park as well as stops in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin, then travelled to Canada, the US, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.

Rumours continue to circle that the band could be set for another reunion tour in 2027, although no official announcement has been made.
