Man City player ratings vs K-League All Stars as Semenyo good again

Ait-Nouri got City underway with a finish on his right foot after strong work from Reijnders down the right. The Dutchman, whose future at the club is more uncertain following interest from Nottingham Forest, then got in on the scoring himself to put City back in the lead after Kim Dae-Won had equalised for the All Stars.

Mubama tapped in after Antoine Semenyo's shot was saved but it was no surprise to see no more goals in the second half given the conditions made the game almost unplayable. Jeremy Monga had an effort ruled out as the contest ended 3-1 to the visitors.

Donnarumma: The goal that he conceded looked avoidable, and he didn't have much else to do. 6

Khusanov: Shifted over to the right and was barely seen before he was taken off at half-time. 6

Dias: A first outing of the new season after returning from his holiday. There was one awkward moment but otherwise he was fine. 6

Gvardiol: Poor Josko looked like he wanted an ice bath from about the 10th minute, and it was a mercy to take him off. 6

Ait-Nouri: Did well for his goal and was always willing to pour forward and push up the pitch. 7

Lewis: One of the five who stayed on at half-time and played in his preferred midfield. He was tidy, but no more. 6

Kovacic: Some good runs forward carrying the ball, other times where he gave the ball away. 6

Reijnders: One goal and one assist in the standout performance from the match. 8

Semenyo: More good wing play taking on his full-back and beating him both ways. 7

Foden: The willing was there but still nothing really clicked, with one good chance blazed high over the bar. 6

Mubama: Another game, another goal. His link-up play was improved from the first game. 6

Bettinelli (for Donnarumma, 46) Juggled one ball but otherwise had a quiet half. 6

Reis (for Khusanov, 46) Started at right-back and then moved inside, looking comfortable with each. 6

Alleyne (for Dias, 46) Had a chance to extend the lead at the back post but couldn't convert. 6

Mfuni (for Gvardiol, 46) Moved up alongside Ait-Nouri and was better defensively this game. 6

Gonzalez (for Kovacic, 46) Kept things tidy in midfield as City controlled the game. 6

Savinho (for Semenyo, 46) A few nice runs on the ball as he pushed forward. 6

Marmoush (for Mubama, 62) Some decent efforts that drew saves from the keeper. 7

Monga (for Foden, 62) Had the ball in the net but it was ruled out. 6

Echeverri (for Reijnders, 62) Couldn't impact the game. 6

Nunes (for Ait-Nouri, 62) Another coming back into the team and he did not have any dramas. 6
