Cory Adjetey-Brew: QPR teenager signs loan deal with Worthing

BBC Sport

National League outfit Worthing have agreed a loan deal with Queens Park Rangers for teenage full-back Cory Adjetey-Brew.

The defender, who started his career at Arsenal's academy before being released in 2024, has experience of senior football after a spell with Isthmian League Premier Division side Welling United.

But after signing a first professional contract with the Rs earlier this month, a loan spell with last season's National League South champions will help his progress.

Adjetey-Brew impressed against Adam Hinshelwood's fifth-tier contenders in a pre-season game for QPR's development squad and will boost their defensive options.

Worthing were promoted to the National League as champions of the National League South last season.
