Out-of-form QPR striker Kone needs support, says Stephan - West London Sport

Out-of-form QPR striker Richard Kone needs support, and will get it, says head coach Julien Stephan.

Kone has struggled in recent matches and laboured against Middlesbrough on Saturday before going off after picking up an injury.

“The main thing is, first from me and from all the people around the club, and all the people who love the club, and all the fans, he needs compassion; probably he needs support,” said Stephan.

“When you are not at the best level – and he’s the first one to recognise that he’s not at his best level – he needs support, and we have to support him.

“To love someone is to support in a good moment and in a bad moment. It’s not the best moment for him but we are all around him to help him to find the solution, because he’s an important player for us.”

Goalscoring Coach by the name of Charlie Austin, will teach forwards the art of scoring. I dont know why he was turned down, we have a British Cycling Coach in charge of fitness, wasn’t there tonight..

Maybe if we have a fitness coach who was there every day with the players may help. The UNFITNESS COACH (Boyfriend of Nourry) must be fired. Kone is overweight, lost a yard in pace. Never was very good in the air but now too fat to jump off the ground. Sell him ASAP please

But has he improved from last season , his first touch and ball protection is not any better , is the hard work being put in, extra training and finishing ???

Absolutely agree he should get all of our support. He put in a serious shift last season and is a decent player at a low point. He will come back to form and do a good job for us again. I’ve supported the Rs for 50 years and have never booed one of our own – and I certainly wouldn’t demoralise someone like him.

No he hasn’t been at his best & yes we do need to support him, I think once he scores he will get a few more, come on Kone, we know you can get through whatever it is, you are only human and we all go through bad times, well said Julian, you speak so much sense. U Rsss

we’ve seen what Kone can do, hes clearly not at his best, niggling injury that nots fully healed perhaps?

but he needs the support not the horrid comments on social media, get a grip he carried us last season when Burrell got injured and he was f**ked game after game and still gave 100%.
