Former Saints striker Ings officially signs for League One side as free agent
The 34 year old was a free agent following his departure from Sheffield United and has spent the past week training with the Chairboys.
Ings could play against Reading on Saturday as he begins the latest chapter of a career which has included 240 Premier League appearances.
The Winchester-born striker had looked set to join former Saints boss Russell Martin at Leicester earlier this summer on a one-year contract.

However, that move collapsed after Ings, who made 23 Championship appearances last season, failed his medical and remained without a club.
The three-cap England international has represented Burnley, Liverpool, Saints, Aston Villa and West Ham during a lengthy career at the highest level.
His most prolific spell came at St Mary's after he initially joined Saints on loan from Liverpool in 2018, where he scored 46 goals in 100 appearances.
Ings has also been regularly linked with a return to St Mary's since his departure and was previously in talks with Saints over a potential move.
