Stoke City reveal their new away kit for the 26/27 season

The new design is available now online and from 10am tomorrow in the bet365 Stadium Store which is extending its hours this weekend and next weekend for those wanting to get their hands on it.

Explaining the design of the new kit, the club writes: "The story of Reginald Mitchell CBE reminds us that, from our city, greatness can take flight.

"It is through that message that the Potters’ 26/27 away kit has been inspired, with City proudly paying homage to the man, raised in Butt Lane, who designed the Supermarine Spitfire, arguably the world's most iconic combat aircraft.

"On the road this year, the Club’s colours and pattern will be representative of the early edition camouflage design of the Spitfire and will include a striking blue and red half-and-half cuff trim, in the image of the roundels that featured on early models of the famous jet.

"The shirts available to supporters will feature RM / Spitfire on the nape of the neck and a further logo featuring the unmistakable outline of the Spitfire, encompassed by Reginald Mitchell CBE (1895-1937). These embellishments do not feature on player shirts to ensure compliance with EFL and FA regulations.

"A tonal crest features on the chest, made using innovative thermoplastic technology.

"The front panel of the shirt is constructed from new Eco 3D Knit Jacquard fabric, introduced by Macron for this season’s collections.

"This innovative construction develops patterns and textures directly within the fabric weave, creating a refined three-dimensional effect that enhances both the tactile and aesthetic qualities of the garment.

"The kit is completed by anthracite shorts with camouflage panel inserts along each side and is paired with matching anthracite socks featuring a complementary red and blue stripe detail on the turnover. "
