
The 20-year-old, who has been on Stoke’s books since he was at primary school, has spent most of the last two seasons out on loan and getting the chance to showcase his potential.
A 18-goal half-season spell at Walsall saw him named League Two young player of the year in 2025 despite being recalled to the bet365 Stadium that January due to an injury crisis.
He had a more challenging at Stockport in League One as he was used largely in a wide role in the first half of 2025/26. He ended up suffering a leg injury that saw him cut his time at Edgeley Park short after scoring seven times in 26 appearances. He went to Wycombe Wanderers on loan back in League One as he regained his fitness and scored four times in 12 appearances.

The centre-forward has scored twice for Stoke as he has tried to make a first team breakthrough under four different managers since making his debut in February 2023.
Lowe is under contract until 2028 but he is not short of suitors. This summer might be the window when Stoke are ready to accept a permanent exit rather than strike another loan deal.
Emre Tezgel, also 20, has returned to Stoke from a loan at Crewe Alexandra when he has also shown his knack for scoring. He got 15 goals in 36 appearances despite also suffering a nasty ankle injury that ruled him out for three months.
Tezgel will also have clubs who will be keen to take him on loan next season, if Stoke decide that is the best next step in his development.
It will be a busy summer window for Stoke and it will be interesting to see how much room there is to manoeuvre in the forward department.
Divin Mubama has returned to Manchester City but Milan Smit has made a loan deal from Go Ahead Eagles permanent. Robert Bozenik will hope he can find his feet after an injury-disrupted first year in England while Sam Gallagher is a major project for returning fitness coach Damian Roden.
Lamine Cisse was gradually used more in the middle after dipping his toe into the Championship on the wing in the first few months after joining from Bastia. Bae Junho spent most of the season in the number 10 role but wasn’t able to contribute with enough goals or assists.
The transfer window officially opens on Monday, June 15. Stoke’s early business in the last couple of years – announcing the signing of Viktor Johansson from Rotherham on May 18, 2024 and the signing of Sorba Thomas from Huddersfield on June 7, 2025 – has arguably been their best.
