Sunderland given VAR explanation for disallowed goal vs Nottingham Forest

Sunderland had conceded four goals in the first half to Forest, heading into the break 4-0 down in a match that saw the Black Cats looking to climb the table as part of their push for European football.

Instead, an own goal from Trai Hume, along with strikes from Chris Wood, Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus, gave Forest a commanding lead on Wearside.
