BBC Sport · Carlo Ancelotti

West Bromwich Albion have signed midfielder Toby Collyer from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who has signed a four-year contract, spent the first half of last season at The Hawthorns, making 12 Championship appearances before moving to Hull City and helping them win promotion to the Premier League.

He is Albion's ninth summer signing so far, following new arrivals including Jimmy-Jay Morgan and Conor Townsend at the club.

Collyer made 13 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions during the 2024-25 season.

He made his competitive debut in their 3-0 home defeat by Liverpool in September 2024.

"There were a few reasons why I was so keen to return," Collyer told Albion's website., external

"The size of the club is one of them. I also really enjoyed my time here on loan in the first half of last season.

"Another reason was the manager, James Morrison. He was really keen to have me back and that's all you want in football."
