West Ham: Al-Hilal agree £68m Crysencio Summerville deal

Saudi club Al-Hilal have agreed a deal worth £60m to sign winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham.

The Netherlands international, 24, has clearance to undergo a medical after a deal worth an initial £55m and a further £5m in add-ons was accepted by the Hammers on Tuesday afternoon.

West Ham had previously rejected an offer in the region of £40m for Summerville, who was also reportedly a target for Aston Villa, but a move to the Riyadh-based club is now expected.

It would be a substantial windfall for relegated West Ham, who also sold midfielder Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham for £85m last month but announced their other key attacker, Jarrod Bowen, is staying on an adjusted contract in the Championship.

The Hammers were relegated from the Premier League in May and have been looking to cut their wage bill and raise funds.

They have opted to keep manager Nuno Espirito Santo on as they bid to earn promotion back to the top flight during their 2026-27 campaign.
