The 22-year-old winger has joined Villa on an initial season-long loan, with the move set to become permanent if he makes a specified number of appearances next season. Garnacho only joined Chelsea last summer in a £40 million move from Manchester United, but he struggled to produce his best form during his time at Stamford Bridge. Now embarking on a new chapter in his career, the Argentina international is eager to get started under Emery and make a fresh impact. “I’m really happy to be here,” he said on Villa TV. “I can’t wait to start on the pitch.
