THE Cherries remain hungry to go to Nottingham Forest and make sure that they remain unbeaten in the second round of fixtures against every team in the Premier League, Andoni Iraola said.

Bournemouth head to Forest on Sunday on a run of 17 games unbeaten in the top flight, matching the club’s previous in-season record, set in 1981/82.

They remain unbeaten in their second fixture against each club, as they played Chelsea twice before the faced Arsenal for the first time, with the second game against the Blues 19 matches ago, and their last defeat, to the Gunners, 18 matches ago.

Iraola said his side have not a lot of pressure heading to the City Ground on Sunday, but they want to maximise their chances – as they could still qualify for the Champions League, too.

“I know we've spoken about not losing any game in the second half of the season, and we have just one team remaining,” he told the Daily Echo.

“We haven't lost against any opposition the second game of the season. And when you have it so close, I don't know how many teams have done this, but I suppose not a lot of teams.

“So I think we are close also to getting this thing that is not minor for me, and I would definitely love to finish without a loss this second half of the season.”
