THE Cherries have ranked highly in a Premier League survey of matchday fans.

The league carries out a matchday fan experience and engagement survey each season, and Bournemouth emerged as one of the top clubs across the board.

Ninety-six per cent of Cherries fans feel positive towards the club, fifth best in the league, while 97 per cent agree the club is well-run and 95 per cent agree it has a long-term vision, ranking them fourth and third for those respective categories.

The club ranked top of the league for their stadium announcements, communication via email and phone, for ticket office staff and for catering staff.

It was second for their matchday programme and for communication via the club website, while the Cherries were in the top seven for all other staff categories.

Overall, Bournemouth earned a 77.7 out of 100 matchday fan experience and engagement score, placing them well above the league average of 67.0 and seeing them place fourth in the league.

In total, 31,743 fans were surveyed, with 878 Cherries fans in that number.

The report said the perception that the club have a long-term vision and is well run have increased this season, with "very strong overall positivity."
