United boss Michael Carrick is under plenty of pressure after his side's humiliation against Como in midweek in the Champions League, and the Red Devils are in a spell of poor form in all competitions.

Marco Rose's Cherries, though, have hit a recent purple patch with three consecutive wins, all of them comfortable, so they head to Old Trafford full of confidence.

The Daily Echo previews Sunday's game.

Rose has confirmed that Junior Kroupi will be involved in some capacity and will get minutes, likely off the bench, as he makes his return from injury.

Bournemouth lost Alex Tóth to injury on Thursday night, and he looks set for a spell on the sidelines, while there will no doubt be some changes as player loads are managed.

They continue to be without Alex Scott and Julián Araujo.

United are without Manuel Ugarte, Luke Shaw, Benjamin Sesko, Patrick Dorgu and Kobbie Mainoo.

Lisandro Martinez, Marcus Rashford and Ayden Heaven could be back in contention for Sunday's hosts, though.

Bournemouth have a stellar recent record at Old Trafford, and they are unbeaten in the past six games against United.

The past three in Manchester have seen the Cherries triumph 3-0 in consecutive seasons, before a thrilling 4-4 draw at the Theatre of Dreams last term.

In a crazy game of football, Bournemouth went behind early to an Amad Diallo goal, before Antoine Semenyo drew them level.

Casemiro gave United the lead again before the break, but a quickfire double from the Cherries through Evanilson and Marcus Tavernier put them in front.

Two goals in three minutes from Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha swung the game back in the hosts' favour, but Kroupi scored six minutes from time to level it once again, and Bournemouth had a good couple of chances at the death to win it.

The Cherries arrive in Manchester in good form and building momentum.

After their thumping 5-1 defeat at the hands of Chelsea, they have responded brilliantly, with dominant victories over Sturm Graz, Sunderland and AC Milan.

All three saw them keep clean sheets, and they scored a total of eight goals across the three games.

Rose will be keen to continue to build their form, and they face a United side desperate to rediscover some.

United have not won since September 10, when they beat Sabah in the Champions League, and have not won in the Premier League since the end of August, when they defeated Ipswich Town.

That was their only win in the league so far, as they sit one point above Bournemouth on seven points from seven games in 13th, with the Cherries sitting two places behind in 15th with six points from their seven.

AFC Bournemouth visit Manchester United on Sunday, October 25, with kick-off at 2pm.
