Charalampos Kostoulas showed the difference a year can make as he provided an immediate impact in Albion’s pre-season.

The young Greek forward scored two first-half goals in a friendly run-out at home to Wycombe Wanderers.

Ibrahim Osman and Georginio Rutter were also on target in a 4-1 win at the training ground in Lancing.

Kostoulas did not feature in pre-season games this time last year following his big move from Olympiacos.

He and other summer signings were kept apart from the main squad as they got up to speed with the demands of training at their new club.

This time Kostoulas started the first game, combining in attack with Danny Welbeck, and produced two finishes.
