# Championship retained lists so far three weeks after City's deadline

Of course, that is true - at least in part - because of the fact that the Robins' list, published a fortnight ago, told fans little more than they already knew. A handful of academy prospects will be leaving BS3 this summer, but first-team decisions have not yet been confirmed.

The Reds' list, shared the week before Skubala's appointment as manager was announced, revealed that conversations between the club and Mark Sykes, Sam Bell, Sam Morsy and Harry Cornick - the quartet of out-of-contract players - would continue following the arrival of a new boss.

With Skubala officially starting work early next week, we await news on what the coming weeks hold for those listed above. While things have been quiet on that front at Ashton Gate, however, plenty of other clubs have been making their intentions for players nearing the end of their deals clear.

At the time of writing, just four sides who will be taking part in the Championship next season are yet to publish their retained lists. Those clubs are the newly relegated trio of West Ham United, Burnley and Wolves, as well as play-off semi-finalists Southampton - who will have been afforded an extension to that May 16 submission deadline.

To bring you up to date with the state of play across England's second tier just shy of three weeks on from that deadline, here are all the lists published by teams who will be competing in the Championship, in 2026/27, so far...
