# Campbell equaliser at West Brom extends Charlton

The 22-year winger, who signed a new four-year contract last week, has now scored four times in five appearances this season – one more goal than he managed in the whole of last campaign. This one was also Charlton’s only shot on target in the match.

“We didn’t play well in the first half, kept giving the ball away,” admitted the Charlton boss. “We defended really well but we didn’t build well. We didn’t get the subs on quick enough and they scored, but then I thought we were excellent to finish the game.

“I felt we could have gone on and maybe nicked it, but that’s an excellent point.”
