The club confirmed the decision - and its impact on fans who have already bought tickets for the original venue - in a statement on Friday afternoon. They say: "We are sorry that, despite extensive work with Málaga CF and the organisers, it has not been possible to find a solution that would enable tickets already purchased for the original venue to remain valid. "We recognise the additional inconvenience this causes supporters who have already made arrangements to attend the game and apologise for the short notice. "The fixture had originally been scheduled to take place at Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras, where we faced Cádiz CF on Wednesday evening. "Following that fixture, both Leicester City and Cádiz raised concerns about the condition of the playing surface. With player safety and preparations for the new season in mind, we have since been working extensively with Málaga CF and the organisers to identify a suitable alternative venue for Saturday’s game."
