Ahead of next week's warm weather training camp to Spain, the Foxes take on one of their League One rivals today in what will be another test for Russell Martin's players.

New signings Conor Chaplin and Alex McCarthy trained with their teammates after signing for the club this week. Chaplin arrives after leaving Ipswich Town while McCarthy has reunited with Martin.

It's another chance for Sammy Braybrooke, Will Alves, Riley Carr and Jake Evans to feature and show what they can do. The game comes four weeks ahead of the League One curtain raiser against Notts County.

We will bring you all the team news and the match action once we get underway. Our City Correspondent Josh Holland will be at Burton so stay tuned for all you need...

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:59 BSTFull-time3-0 winIt ends here and it's another step in the right direction for Leicester City.

They are 3-0 winners here thanks to goals from Kirsten Otchere, Will Alves and Nathan Opoku.

Reaction to come..

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:53 BST90Added timeFive minutes of added time here.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:50 BST88Sub for LeicesterKevon Gray was going to come on, he isn't. Ryan Donnelly has replaced Hamza Choudhury.

Jayden Joseph has gone into midfield...

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:43 BST813-0!It's Nathan Opoku and it's 3-0.

Riley Carr somehow keeps the ball down the right and plays it inside for Opoku. The striker takes the ball under pressure and slides it past the goalkeeper.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:30 BST68ChangesWout Faes, Misrad Ali, Tom Wilson-Brown, Jake Evans, Tommy Neale, Lorenz Hutchinson and Riley Carr are all on.

We now have a completely different XI to the one that started.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:28 BST652-0!Will Alves doubles City's lead and it's a brilliantly worked goal.

That will be the pick of the lot in pre-season so far. Mavididi, Braybrooke and Opouku all link-up, before Alves smashes it past the trialist goalkeeper.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:27 BST63Cruise controlLeicester have been the better team all game but since half-time, Burton haven't managed to come close.

Will Alves, Stephy Mavididi, Nathan Opoku and Sammy Braybrooke have had opportunities but they are yet to add to Kirsten Otchere's goal.

We expecting subs soon with Jake Evans looking like he is prepped to come on.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:13 BST50Close from MavididiIt probably should be 2-0 to City here. Mavididi does incredibly well to turn on the halfway line and drive forward.

After passing to Will Alves, the winger got the ball back but slammed his effort out of the stadium.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul14:08 BSTFour changes for CitySo an obvious change of plan.

Leicester City have made four changes (Fran Vieites, Jayden Joseph, Hamza Choudhury and Nathan Opoku).

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:52 BSTHalf-timeSo 45 minutes in and City find themselves 1-0 up.

Again, bare with us, but I think the teams will not change. So not an hour, like planned, but 45 minutes.

Burton captain Curtis Tilt is fuming here. It appears to be towards Caleb Okoli, who came running over when Tilt had a pop at Otchere.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:49 BST47OTCHERE1-0 to City and it's Kirsten Otchere again!

Bade Aluko strolls into the box and gets his low effort in, Otchere bundles the ball home after Corey Addai attempted to get the ball away.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:47 BST45Four minutes of added timeWe will have four minutes of dded time.

I think we are just going to play two 45 minutes.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:42 BST41Should be 1-0Stephy Mavididi is denied at the back post by Corey Addai after unreal play by Louis Page. The midfielder gets out of a tight spot and spreads the ball out to Sammy Braybrooke on the right.

The midfielder floats a cross to the back post, Mavididi brings it down but is denied by Addai.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:32 BST30Half-hour goneSo we are at 30 minutes and we are sitll playing.

Rhys Owen and one member of Burton's backroom staff are in conversation with fourth official Callum Fisk. Let's see what happens.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:26 BST25Water break? We are meant to be playing four lots of 30 minutes but referee Tom Reeves has stopped play for a water break after 21 minutes.

Russell Martin has been in conversation with the officials, including the referee. No idea what has gone on, we will find out in five minutes.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:22 BST20Unreal play by CityBade Aluko stops a Burton attack, runs past ones, plays a neat one-two with Sammy Braybrooke and is pulled down to the floor.

Stephy Mavididi nearly opens the scoring with a brilliant free-kick but Corey Addai pulls off a brilliant save.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:11 BST10Leicester dominatingIt's been a good opening 10 minutes for City so far with the midfield getting on the ball and forcing Burton into problems.

We're positioned near the dugout here at the Pirelli Stadium and Russell Martin is involved in everything. Wants his players to press higher and quicker when they give it away.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:04 BST3Yellow cardBurton have an early yellow card through Jack Armer.

The left-back came in late on Will Alves. Perhaps slightly harsh in a pre-seaosn friendly mind.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:01 BST1UnderwayKirsten Otchere kicks us off. Reminder we will play four 30 minute halves here.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul13:00 BSTHere come the teamsIt's a glorious day here in Burton and the player are out.

The away end is packed at the Pirelli Stadium, much more fans than at Bristol Rovers. Kick-off imminent.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul12:43 BSTSame format as BristolA reminder that today's game will be played across four 30-minute halves with Leicester City playing two different XIs.

The first XI is certainly the strongest. Excited to see Louis Page and Sammy Braybrooke on the pitch together.

CommentsJosh Holland18th Jul11:45 BSTNo Chaplin or McCarthyConor Chaplin and Alex McCarthy are not in the squad for today's game at Burton Albion. The pair were only confirmed on Thursday and trained with their new teammates yesterday.

Depsite that, Russell Martin has named a strong XI and for the first time, has hinted somewhat at what players he prefers. Jakub Stolarczyk starts in goal over Fran Vieites with Bade Aluko, Caleb Okoli, Ben Nelson and Luke Thomas - who captains the Foxes - in front of him.

In midfield, Over Skipp is expected to play in the No.6 role with Louis Page and Sammy Braybrooke playing ahead of him. Stephy Mavididi and Will Alves are expected to be the two wingers with Kirsten Otchere retaining his spot at centre-forward.

XI: Stolarczyk; Aluko, Okoli, Nelson, Thomas (C); Skipp, Braybrooke, Page; Alves, Mavididi, Otchere.

Subs: Vieites, Faes, Choudhury, Ali, Joseph, Wilson-Brown, Donnelly, Neale, Carr, Hutchinson, Evans, Opoku.
