Our City Correspondent Josh Holland is in Jerez de la Frontera this week after arriving on Wednesday afternoon. Here is our notebook from the opening 24 hours in Europe and what's coming in the coming day.... An early start at Gatwick airport started on Tuesday with a train down to the capital from Leicester. After staying overnight at a nearby Travel Lodge, I was through security and ready to board by 7am. Despite a delay to leave the tarmac, I finally landed in Seville at 1.20pm to the news that King Power were reportedly open to selling the football club. Great start. FOLLOW ON FACEBOOK! Leicester City have not commented on the matter. We arrived at the stadium around three hours before kick-off, got set-up in the only covered stand and waited for the game. When the team coach arrived, Conor Chaplin and Harry Souttar were the first off and they took time to take pictures with the handful of supporters waiting for them. The rest followed and it was nice to see the likes of Will Alves and Bade Aluko stop and sign a blank canvas for a local Spanish fan. It was then action time and the 1-0 win was overshadowed somewhat by the difficult pitch left for City and Cadiz to play on. Cadiz's camp were concerned about the pitch, which has obvious bobbles and underdeveloped patches. It was one of the first things we noticed when walking pitchside and it looked much worse higher up. Leicester are due to play in the same stadium on Saturday against Malaga. During the first-half, the togetherness of the players were on display and it was something Martin "enjoyed" to see. Jake Evans' late challenge sparked an angry reaction from the Spanish players, with one of them pushing the forward. Almost seconds later, Hamza Choudhury, Conor Chaplin and Harry Souttar were on the scene to defend the teenager. It was good to see the players fighting for each other. One specific moment that caught my eye came at full-time when Martin led players from the first half XI to the small contingency of travelling Foxes. The City boss took one of their phones and posed in front of an England flag that read 'For a Lifetime', 'Leicester City', 'Not Just the Good Times' and 'Boothy'. To them fans, I hope you got some good shots! We got the chance to speak to Martin, you can read what he said here, as well as full-backs Jayden Joseph and Luke Thomas. Their words will come on our site next week. Thursday has been a different day, a day-off if you like. Work at City's training base is relaxed today ahead of the final training session of the week before Saturday tomorrow. Fortunately, we will be there to watch the team train and get a peak behind the curtain.
