Fans across the country are returning to the default option after England’s World Cup exit – bring on the domestic season.

The semi-final loss to Argentina brought an outpouring of scorn on England boss Thomas Tuchel for his negative tactics, but it is clear where sentiments are strongest.

A Pink Un poll asked a simple question: Which one are you choosing - England win the World Cup or Norwich City win the league? The response made it clear – 64pc of the voters wanted to see Norwich win the Championship title.

And not long after the final whistle went in Atlanta on Wednesday night, City fans were firmly back in yellow and green mode….
