Luke McCormick, Karl Duguid, David Norris and Barry Hayles were all part of the squad as England lifted the Seniors World Cup for the ninth time.

Hayles, aged 54, scored the opening goal in the final against France and 48-year-old Duguid scored England's fourth as they triumphed 4-0.

The trio of McCormick, Hayles and Norris all started the match for England while Duguid played as a substitute.

England finished top of Group A with victories over Thailand (2-0), Taiwan (4-1) and the United States of America (3-0), with Norris, 45, scoring a goal in the first and third games.

That set up a semi-final against Group B runners-up Australia and the quartet of McCormick, Duguid, Norris and Hayles were all in the starting line-up.

Hayles scored one of the goals in a dominant 5-2 win for England, while there were two goals for Aaron O'Connor and one each for Jamie Coyle and ex-Bristol Rovers striker Jamie Cureton.

That earned England their place in the final and they proved too strong for France with O'Connor and Cureton on target, as well as Hayles and Duguid.
