The 19-year-old netted his third goal since joining the Tigers on loan from Liverpool in January to help his side claim a 2-1 win at Wrexham on Tuesday night.
He is now hoping to make an impact as Craig Bellamy's men prepare to face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the play-off semi-final at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday, 26 March - with the winner hosting Italy or Northern Ireland in the final five days later.
"It's a massive campaign. We're all looking forward to it and hopefully we'll get the job done," he told BBC Radio Wales.
"Hopefully I can make an impact and get put in."
Hull boost play-off hopes with Wrexham win
Koumas' impact was limited during his loan stint with Birmingham City in the opening half of the campaign.
He was restricted to just seven starts in the Championship under Chris Davies, with his only goal for the Blues coming in a 3-2 victory over league leaders Coventry City.
But he has featured in all nine of the Tigers' league fixtures since joining Sergej Jakirović's outfit on loan, starting three of the past four.
Koumas' headed goal against Wrexham typified his recent improvement since making the switch to MKM Stadium.
"It's a nice feeling to score in Wales and to pick up three points on the road," added Koumas. It's a massive win. We knew it was a big game. To see the game out, it's a good feeling.
"I'm loving it here at Hull. It's a really great place to be around and I'm just really happy in general. I'm looking to develop and I feel like it's going great here. I'm just excited now for the rest of the season."
Wrexham's Moore a 'big doubt' for Wales play-offs

He is hoping to continue to learn from the man who played alongside his father, Jason Koumas, with both Wales and Cardiff City.
"He's done a lot for me. I really, really love Bellers as a person, and as a coach," said Koumas.
"He's helped me a lot and hopefully he can continue to help me in the future."
