Dominant Hull City ease to comfortable win to kick off pre-season in style

In their first run-out of the summer, the Tigers delivered a dominant display to ease to victory, thanks to goals from Enis Destan and Abu Kamara, sandwiched either side of an own goal at the Aluminij Sports Park in Kidričevo

Matty Jacob won the ball well with a firm challenge inside a minute, but was cautioned by the Slovenian referee in what was the first in a string of bizarre decisions early on. Increasingly dominant as the game wore on, Nathan Tinsdale stepped off the bench for the stricken Abdus Omur to cross for Enis Destan to power in the header just shy of the half-hour.

Ryan Giles, on for Matty Jacob at the break, delivered one of those classic crosses we saw swallowed up so many times by Oli McBurnie last season, this time turned into the back of the Konyaspor net via a ricochet by a defender, with Tinsdale lurking.

A swift break saw City rattle in the third when Liam Millar picked out Abu Kamara to slam in the third. Oli McBurnie made it 4-0, but a below-par refereeing display was capped when the official decided to disallow it for an imaginary foul.
