Leicester City will be hoping to welcome players back to Russell Martin's squad for this Saturday's trip to Stockport County. The Foxes suffered a 4-0 defeat to Oxford United over the weekend to leave them 17th in the League One table.
Jakub Stolarczyk and Ben Nelson are two long-term absentees for City with the academy pair suffering ACL injuries. Conor Chaplin and Caleb Okoli have missed the last two games due to minor knocks, but could return this week.
Martin will hold his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, with an update on his squad expected to come ahead of the trip to Edgeley Park on Saturday.

Chaplin played twice for Leicester against Ipswich and MK Dons before suffering a recurring issue with the same problem that forced him to miss the start of the season.
He missed the win over Plymouth and defeat to Oxford, but is likely to be back on Saturday.
"He's in a good place but probably looking more likely next week,” Martin said.
Expected return date: Stockport (A) - Saturday 12th September
After signing on a free on deadline day, Lundstram was absent from the matchday squad over the weekend. Martin hinted that the midfielder would need to build his fitness after a slow pre-season.
"John is a bit different [to Doyle and O'Hora] because he's been in Turkey, knowing he's going to leave,” he explained. “He hasn't been involved in the games, so a lot of his conditioning has been on his own and around the team."
Expected return date: Unknown
Okoli was back on the grass in the last week after missing the four games. The Italian is, though, expected to be back in Stockport.
"Caleb's back on the grass now and moving well. So hopefully we'll have them both back next week."
Expected return date: Unknown
The goalkeeper's ACL injury was confirmed by Martin pre-Oxford, with him set to miss the rest of the season. Alex McCarthy replaced him in the defeat last week.
"Not good. I feel so disappointed for the big guy," the City boss said. "He’ll be out for the season. It was a really innocuous one on his knee.
"The only silver lining is that him and Ben [Nelson] will get to do their rehab together, they’re in very similar situations."
Expected return date: End of the season
Stolarczyk joins Nelson in the treatment room at Seagrave after the centre-back suffered an ACL injury in pre-season. The defender has been sidelined since the start of August and has been in attendance to watch his teammates play since surgery
"Really disappointing with Ben," Martin said. "It's really sad for him and us. He’ll be out for the majority of the season. He ruptured his ACL
"He requires surgery next week. So now our job with Ben, who's an outstanding young player and young man, is to support him through that and to make sure he still feels part of it.
"I spoke to him this week already about it. He'll have a role to play at some point for sure, but we need to get his operation done and then see what he wants to do and how he can help. There's many ways he can help because he's an intelligent young man.
"I'm really disappointed because he's a huge asset to this football club, on and off the pitch. We will miss him for sure. It's probably the only negative that we've had in pre-season and it's a big one."
Expected return date: End of the season
