Liverpool handed major fitness boost ahead of PSG showdown

However, the midfielder was among those being put through their paces at the AXA Training Centre on Monday lunchtime in preparation for the visit of PSG on Tuesday evening.

Arne Slot's side must produce one of the finest comebacks in Liverpool's history having been beaten 2-0 at the Parc des Princes by the holders last Wednesday.

But Liverpool could otherwise call on a full contingent with Alexander Isak continuing to build up fitness having returned to training earlier this month while teenagers Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni were also both involved.
