Winger Eom Ji-sung is reported to have been targeted by supporters, prompting a lengthy stoppage in play at The Den last night (October 13).

The game was paused for nearly seven minutes following the allegations.

Referee Edward Duckworth halted play in the 65th minute to discuss the incident with team managers and officials.

The allegations were reported by Swansea to officials, and involved a section of the crowd behind the Swansea dug-out.

An announcement was made in the stadium stating that police were using CCTV to identify any offenders.

Swansea manager Vitor Matos confirmed the chants were directed at South Korean player Eom, who was warming up at the time.

Millwall manager Alex Neil said: “It’s been reported and obviously it’s not acceptable.”

The match resumed with Swansea securing a dramatic 1-0 win, thanks to a last-minute goal from substitute Ronald.

Swansea, with the best defensive record in the division, managed to hold off Millwall despite a strong showing from The Lions.

The game was marked by several missed opportunities from Millwall, and a standout performance from Swansea goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux.

The win further solidified Swansea's position at the top of the table.
