Newcastle United jobs in security and for host families for young players

Chronicle Live · Daniel Hall

Nevertheless, it doesn't mean a job at the club is out of the question. Some may feel like years of practice on Football Manager has prepped them for a role in the scouting department, whilst others may feel they can offer a home away from home where a young player can grow.

There are a handful of jobs on offer through the club at the minute, which are listed as providing "competitive salaries." Here are the jobs on offer at Newcastle United right now.

Security Manager (Training Ground and Academy)

The security manager will manage site security across Newcastle United's Training Ground and academy. This includes access control, accreditation, CCTV management, and leading a team of security officers.

Closing date: May 4

The club is looking for host families to support young players aged 14-21 as they move to Newcastle United from outside the North East. A host family would be required to provide a stable, safe and welcoming home; and support players' academic and personal development.

Closing date: July 31.

Security Officer

The club is recruiting for the security team and the fortunate candidate will, patrol the Academy and surrounding areas to ensure safety and security, monitor CCTV to detect and prevent incidents, manage building access, including opening and lockdown procedures, oversee car park security and control deliveries and post, and welcome visitors with professionalism and courtesy.

Closing date: May 8.

Academy International Scout (three roles)

The academy international scout will be required to act as an ambassador for the club, identifying and assessing high-potential academy players. There are three academy international scout roles up for grabs, based in Italy, Portugal and the Balkans.

Closing date: April 26, 8am
