Nottingham Forest

Vitor Pereira’s side might not have been able to take that one last step and make it all the way to the Europa League final, but travelling around the continent was some journey for the Reds. Reaching the last four of the tournament was still a brilliant achievement, especially given the chaotic nature of the 2025/26 campaign.

This was an experience to savour for Forest. Supporters journeyed north, east, south and west in their thousands and made memories to cherish for years to come.

For a whole new generation, this was uncharted territory. The Reds have a rich history on the big stage, of course, but it had been three decades since their last taste of international football.

Trips to Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey and Denmark ensued before the odyssey came to an end in the more familiar surrounds of Birmingham. A hardy group of 241 attended all 16 of Forest’s Europa League matches - home and away - covering more than 12,000 miles

Throughout it all, happy tears were shed, laughs were shared, torrential rain was endured and sun was soaked up. Friendships were forged, too, as a common interest united those who travelled.

This is the story of the Reds’ Europa League campaign told by the people at the very heart of it. Forest fans.
