'Elliot Anderson isn't world class - Forest have played hand perfectly'

Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke has praised Nottingham Forest for their decision to sell Elliot Anderson for £130m - claiming that the midfielder isn't worth it.

Forest took the decision to sell Anderson when the bids from City increased and had a clear philosophy that every player does indeed have their price by agreeing a deal for the England midfielder.

While it leaves Forest with an obvious hole to fill, it also leaves them with cash to spend, and Dwight Yorke belieces they got a brilliant deal in the process.

He told Boyle Sports: "Elliot Anderson isn’t worth £130million but Nottingham Forest have played their hand perfectly to get Manchester City to over-pay for him

"It’s not my money so it’s easy for me to sit here and say they should spend it but I just don’t believe these players are worth £130 million.
