Oxford United travel to face Barnet in their second pre-season fixture under new head coach Aaron Ramsey.

The U's beat National League side Aldershot Town 3-1 on Tuesday in their first match under ex-Arsenal and Premier League Ramsey in front of supporters.

Aidomo Emakhu, Gatlin O'Donkor and Jeon Jin-woo scored the goals to take Oxford to victory after going a goal down at the EBB Stadium, Emakhu and Jin-woo both finding the net for the first time in United colours.

The game was also the first time the Yellows have been in action since being hit with a registration embargo, with the club stating that they will not be able to make any new signings until the January window as they aim to comply with new EFL financial rules.

On Saturday, Ramsey's men travel to League Two outfit Barnet for their second pre-season outing.

Oxford have faced the Bees 12 times in their history, first in 1995 when they won 3-2 in the Auto Windscreens Shield.

United have won eight of their dozen clashes, drawing three and losing only once.

They most recently played each other competitively in 2016, meeting in League Two as Michael Appleton's U's ran out 3-0 winners at the Hive.
