
Watford Women have made their sixth signing of the summer, striker Pheobie Poole the latest addition to what looks to be an ambitious recruitment drive.
Poole, a Wales international, scored 16 goals in 30 appearances for FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division rivals Plymouth Argyle last season - and joins Saoirse Noonan in forming what looks set to be a prolific frontline.

The 22-year-old scored 37 goals in 45 appearances for Cardiff City from 2020-23, before spending seasons at Cheltenham Town and Oxford United before her Plymouth switch.
At Oxford, she won the Players' and Supporters' Player of the Season award.
She also joins Zara Bailey, Ellie Noble, Hannah Greenwood and Demi Lamourne in signing for the Golden Girls, who are waiting ratification on a takeover from investment company Pitch15.
