Trigg held the position of finance representative and board secretary, and his exit follows another board member, Steve Cutmore, who announced his decision to stand down late on Sunday.
We understand that the two resignations were not coordinated.
It is also understood that other members of the Supporters’ Board are considering their next moves, but so far, no further resignations have been made.
When Cutmore resigned, he published a lengthy statement rebuking claims by the Hornets’ owner, Gino Pozzo, who had lauded the club’s transparency.

In response to Cutmore’s resignation statement, the club issued a response, reaffirming their “unwavering commitment to an independent supporters’ board”, which can be read at the end of this article.
The club also revealed that they had confirmed, in writing, Pozzo's intention to meet with the supporters' board.
Watford Supporters' Board member resigns after Pozzo comments
Nominations for new members are expected to open soon, with details to be confirmed in due course.
The Supporters' Board issued the following statement in recognition of Trigg's resignation, thanking him for his "vital contribution".
"The Supporters Board is very sad that Nick has taken the difficult decision to step away from the Board.
"Nick has gone above and beyond in his role as Secretary, making a vital contribution to establishing the Supporters Board, ensuring that discussions with the club are appropriately minuted, and working alongside Steve on the recent statement concerning the accounts.
"It is a real shame to see him go, and his contribution, dedication and support will be greatly valued by us all."
