Cherries in Europe - Draw made for Europa League first qualifying round

THE draw for the first round of qualifying for the Europa League has been made, with sides hoping to progress through to the league phase, where the Cherries will enter the competition.

Bournemouth will make their European bow this season in the second-tier European trophy.

There are a total of three qualifying rounds and a playoff round that will take place before the league phase, with the draw made on Tuesday for the first of those.

The first legs of the first qualifying round will be played on July 9, before the second legs on July 16.

This round includes the former club of Bournemouth’s Alex Toth, Ferencvárosi, where he was signed from in January.

FC Dynamo Kyiv (UKR) vs FC Universitatea Cluj (ROU)

Qarabağ FK (AZE) vs Vestri (ISL)

HNK Hajduk Split (CRO) vs MŠK Žilina (SVK)

PFC CSKA Sofia (BUL) vs Derry City FC (IRL)

FC Sheriff Tiraspol (MDA) vs NK Aluminij (SVN)

FK Vojvodina (SRB) vs Ferencvárosi TC (HUN)

The draw for the second qualifying round will take place today.
