With it being the midpoint of the transfer window, let's look at Albion's new signings so far.

The key man so far is Luka Vuskovic.

He signed for Brighton for a reported fee of £46 million from Spurs, which could rise to £50 million with add-ons. It's a club record deal, which surpassed the £40 million deal for attacker Georginio Rutter in 2024.

Another key reinforcement sees Pascal Strujik come to the south coast from Leeds.

When he arrived this summer, the Albion boss praised his form from last season.

Fabian Hurzeler said: “He really showcased what he’s capable of last season...

"He is exactly the sort of profile I wanted."

Winger Zadok Yohanna penned a deal from AIK. It was a deal worth £21.5 million, reports say.

He's a talent that was being looked at by Chelsea, Newcastle and even European sides like RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund.

Right-back Costinha came from Olympiacos. The Portuguese defender established himself in Greece.

He performed well with former club Olympiacos domestically and in Europe.

Rodrigo Rego, the 21-year-old, joined from Benfica B. He has since gone on loan to Spanish second-tier side CD Castellón for the 2026/27 season.

Finally, Michael Svoboda has joined from Venezia. Michael was included in Austria's World Cup squad list and was a Serie B champion last season.

So far, Albion have bolstered their defensive options well. And after Van Paul van Hecke left Albion for Spurs, it was necessary.

Yohanna is another example of Brighton snapping up a wonderkid. He primarily plays as a right winger, though he can also operate as an attacking midfielder or number 10.
