
Coventry City will face AS Monaco in a pre-season friendly on Friday, August 14 (7pm kick-off) at the CBS Arena.
The Sky Blues will round off their preparations for the 2026/27 Premier League campaign against the Ligue 1 outfit.
Monaco finished seventh in the French league last season and in doing so qualified for the UEFA Conference League. They are managed by former Brazil left back Filipe Luís and have the likes of Paul Pogba, Folarin Balogun and Eric Dier in their squad.

Monaco chief executive Thiago Scuro said recently: “It is a complicated topic because we have a lot of respect for Paul, for the person he is. Since he arrived, he has been very positive.
“It is also true that, last year, the project didn’t work well because when we started with him in the summer, the expectations were very different to what happened.
“I think that we have to be fair with him, follow his preparation every week, how he will progress physically and technically and then it will be the manager’s decision."
The Sky Blues played Monaco in a behind-closed-doors friendly at St George's Park last summer but were beaten 5-0 with Pogba watching from the stands.
City’s pre-season programme will continue with a trip to Sky Bet League Two side Northampton Town on Saturday 18thJuly.
La Liga side RCD Espanyol will visit the CBS Arena on Saturday, August 8.
The Sky Blues also have additional behind-closed-doors friendlies pencilled in during August as part of the pre-season programme.
Ticket information for the home matches against RCD Espanyol and AS Monaco will be confirmed in due course.
