The forward appeared to pull up with a muscle problem after making a pass, 15 minutes after the restart. Salah suffered a similar issue during the Champions League Round of 16 win over Galatasaray when a problem flared up forcing him to miss the trip to Brighton & Hove Albion and the international break.

Should the injury be significant, it will deny Salah the opportunity to extend his superb goalscoring record against Manchester United (May 3). If the problem is severe, it could mean he misses the remainder of the season with the Reds battling for Champions League qualification.
