Emotional Clement on Swans stalemate

Eastern Daily Press · By Paddy Davitt

Philippe Clement had his say on the key issues around Norwich City's 1-1 Championship draw against Swansea City.

The Canaries' faint play-off hopes were ended at Carrow Road, after Zan Vipotnik and Kenny McLean each struck from the penalty spot in the second half.

Clement's squad needed wins against the Swans and Hull on the final weekend, along with a sequence of results elsewhere, to seal an improbable top six finish.

The Belgian reflected on the scale of the turnaround since his November 2025 arrival, and the emotional full-time scenes with staff and families on the traditional lap of appreciation after the final home game of the 2025/26 season.

Clement spoke to the Pinkun at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.
